2 hormonal changes I made that got me six pack lean

When guys want to get six pack abs and lean down, they think they need to starve themselves and feel hungry all the time.

That only happens when your nutrition is working against you, instead of working for you.

In just a moment you’ll see how I stack the odds in my favour, by looking at the two most important hunger regulating hormones in my body.

Ghrelin and leptin.

Ghrelin is a gut hormone and is the predominant hormone that regulates how hungry you are.

Leptin on the other hand is responsible how satiated and full you feel after a meal.

So the key is to lower Ghrelin and increase leptin, that you don’t feel very hungry and at the same time feel satiated after eating.

The way I did that was with two simple tweaks in my nutrition and training.

1. Adding organ meats to my meals

Meat organs are some of the most nutrient dense foods on the planet.

Because of their nutrient density, and their form, it’s very easy to feel satiated from it in a short amount of time and get a positive response from my friend leptin.

I don’t like all organs, but some of my favourites are beef liver, chicken liver, chicken heart, lamb kidney.

When you get them, make sure it’s from grass fed or even grass finished meat from a local former.

You don’t want organs that are full of chemicals and hormones.

2. Reducing training volume

Research shows that to sustain the muscle mass you built, you only need 1/3 of your existing training volume, AS LONG as you keep the intensity the same.

It’s hard to give in and do less, then expect to get more results.

Yet I gave it a shot and it worked extremely well.

Not only did I feel a lot faster recovered and less sore, but my sleep was better.

So what does this have to do with getting leaner?

Because I was training less, I felt less hungry.

This means my other friend, Ghrelin, was lowered naturally.

And because of that, I wasn’t going over my calories and it felt a lot easier to stick to the plan.

I didn’t have to rely on willpower, rather I had my hormones work in my favor.

The better you can naturally reduce hunger the easier it will be to stick to your plan and thus get your results.

A lot of people think optimizing your hormones is some magic fat loss trick.

It’s not.

It’s just a way to adhere to your plan better, so that you are able to stick to it until all the fat is gone and you can wake up with abs like my clients and I do.

Ultimately your hormones are regulated through your input, such as nutrition, training, sleep, stress and supplementation.
