The #1 exercise every man over 40 should do

⠀⠀⠀⠀
Especially if you sit 10h at your desk
⠀⠀⠀⠀
Chances are you’re reading this post either on your phone, tablet, or desktop.
⠀⠀⠀⠀
As you read and type, you naturally lean a bit more forward with your shoulders.
⠀⠀⠀⠀
You stretch out your arms to type.
⠀⠀⠀⠀
By doing that you cause an almost permanent rotation of your shoulders.
⠀⠀⠀⠀
This exact positioning is a set up for shoulder pain or lower back pain.
⠀⠀⠀⠀
Plus when you stand straight you now lean forward and it makes you look emasculated.
⠀⠀⠀⠀
The length between your nipple and front shoulder is one of the biggest signs of masculinity in your body.
⠀⠀⠀⠀
Take a look at one of my clients in this photo.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
On the left his neck was leaning forward, his shoulder blades were a bit more internally rotated.
⠀⠀⠀⠀
Now look at the photo on the right.
⠀⠀⠀⠀
Look how far behind his shoulder are and how that impacts his posture.
⠀⠀⠀⠀
Not only is it in alignment with the human anatomy, but it completely transforms your appearance without changing your body composition.
⠀⠀⠀⠀
You look stronger, more powerful and dominant without putting on a single pound of extra muscle mass.
⠀⠀⠀⠀
It also helps with better sex as your back is stronger and doesn’t get tired as quickly so you can play around in different positions.
⠀⠀⠀⠀
What most guys do when they try to achieve that and hit the gym is do more push-ups and shoulder presses.
⠀⠀⠀⠀
While those two exercises are great in their own unique way, they both rotate you even more internally.
⠀⠀⠀⠀
So your posture becomes even more leaning forward and emasculating.
⠀⠀⠀⠀
Instead, you should prioritize another exercise.
⠀⠀⠀⠀
Before I share it with you, keep in mind that it’s not the only exercise to correct your posture.
⠀⠀⠀⠀
Depending on how internally rotated you are, it needs a lot more work.
⠀⠀⠀⠀
With that being said, the most important exercise to reverse that is rowing.
⠀⠀⠀⠀
When you row you engage your trapezius which is what makes out a big part of your back density.
⠀⠀⠀⠀
I want you to take a moment and stand in front of a mirror and push your shoulder blades together and look at how your posture changes.
⠀⠀⠀⠀
Look at how much it lifts up your chest.
⠀⠀⠀⠀
Look at how more masculine and assertive you look.
⠀⠀⠀⠀
Now imagine if you did that a few times a week with heavy weights.
⠀⠀⠀⠀
That’s what happens when you add seated machine rows, low row’s, high rows, or cable rows into your workouts.
⠀⠀⠀⠀
They also train other muscles that help you stabilize your posture even further such as the Rhomboideus major, your lats, or even rear delts.
⠀⠀⠀⠀
Can you see how important it is to customize your training and nutrition to your lifestyle?
⠀⠀⠀⠀
It’s not enough to get a regular workout routine that Joe and his brother are using.
⠀⠀⠀⠀
For someone who doesn’t sit all day long at his desk typing, the routine might be completely different.
⠀⠀⠀⠀
Keep that in mind before you get yourself a new workout plan.
⠀⠀⠀⠀
It’s not just about putting on muscle mass.
⠀⠀⠀⠀
It’s about creating a body that is pain-free, strong, and represents aesthetics.
⠀⠀⠀⠀
There’s a ton of jacked guys out there that when taking their shirt off are muscular, but it doesn’t look appealing.
