Looking to get rid of your last 10 pounds?

Looking to get rid of your last 10 pounds?

When you started losing weight, you probably dropped 20 or 30 pounds.

Maybe even more.

Yet the more you dropped, the more you realized that weight doesn’t come off as easily as when you have more to lose.

When you’re 50, 70 or even 100 pounds overweight, most average coaches will do the job.

They will get you to cut out liquid calories, walk more, lift weights, eat more whole foods and maybe work on your sleep and stress.

Doing the basics will shed anywhere from 30-80 pounds away, depending where you started.

Most of the credit at this stage, comes from you doing the basic work.

Any while no coach likes to hear this, but virtually any coach at this level is replaceable.

Now as are 80% to your goal, about 80% of coaches will fall away.

That’s where you need to get a bit more dialed in.

As the old saying goes, what got you here won’t get you there.

Your workout form, frequency, intensity and volume have to be all optimized.

Your nutrition has to be further dialed in.

And that will get you to 90%.

Going from 90 to 100 is a different ballgame.

100% to me is that you got six pack lean and your health markers are fully optimized.

Further more, you’re able to sustain your results for 5-10+ years after the program is done.

And it’s also where I believe most men ROI the greatest from getting world class coaching.

When you’re stuck right above being average, with some last love handles and belly fat left.

You know those last 10 pounds will make a dramatic difference in your appearance.

But when you get closer to the last 5-10 pounds of fat, things get exponentially harder.

The weight doesn’t come off as easily as when you have more to lose.

You have to be more precise with what you’re doing because there’s less room for error.

A tiny dent in an eggshell can cause it to break.

This is why you won’t see much benefit, if any, from the plan that had you drop the initial 20+ pounds.

I’m sure you realized that as you followed it to the books with full discipline and commitment.

Because when you have to get more detailed with what you’re doing, there are pieces that are hard to see for yourself.

Which are your blind spots.

One of them is overtraining.

Many high performers at this stage will start adding an extra lifting day.

Or they add 2 cardio sessions a week where they go running or use the Peloton.

And that right there is the blindspot.

They think that they have to do more to get rid of those last 10 pounds.

It’s rarely more.

9/10 times it’s that they have to do less things wrong.

In this case, extra cardio and training will jack up cortisol, which will make it harder to recover, testosterone drops, fatigue and hunger kick in and you’ll likely snack and overeat.

Now you’re 12 pound instead of 10 away from your goal.

I’ve found that’s where we’ve had some of the best clients come to us.

Not because they are in desperate need of a coach to save their life from a heart attack.

But because they love winning and know they can reach the top 1% and take it to the next level.

So even though they are doing so well on their own, they reach out for help.
If you were waiting for 1-2 hacks or tricks to get rid of those last pounds, I’m going to disappoint you.

There are one.

This is THE hack.

It takes a full audit and monitoring to get you dialed in and progressing down to getting six pack lean.

It’s why elite athletes and pros increase the contact frequency and progress updates with their coaches right before a competition or before they get on stage.

Former Mr. Olympia Jay Cutler used to send DAILY progress photos to his trainer, and he changed his diet DAILY based on his current form.

I know you don’t want to get a Mr. Olympia title, but this is an example of removing blind spots to get to the next level.

Either way – I’m rooting for you because you’re already ahead of 90% of people.

You made it to the top 10 and it’s a high achievement.

If you want to get into the top 1% and achieve elite levels of fitness, you know where to find me.
